Rita Ann Gianechini, 69, died on November 22, 2018. Rita was the daughter of Corado and Concetta Gianechini, and the sister of Corado, Jr., all of whom pre-deceased her. She grew up in Cheverly, MD, and worked for a number of years as a switchboard operator at CBS News.
After the death of her parents, she lived with her brother until his death in August 2012 at which time Rita moved to Green Ridge House in Greenbelt, MD, where she made many friends and was very happy. Rita was a proud breast cancer survivor. She has no survivors.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church, 135 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770 on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (visitation at 9:30 a.m. preceding the Mass). Burial will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's name to the St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church at the aforementioned address.
