I hope this note finds you well. Unfortunately I was out of town for Robert's service, but I really did want to reach out to you during this time of remembrance. I worked with Robert over the last year and would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for sharing him with us daily here at work, as well as those occasions where he'd take that personal time when he was home with you to answer our phone calls to help us make last-minute arrangements. He was an immediate friend with a contagious energy and positive personality. I thoroughly enjoyed stopping by the office and chatting with him and he always spoke so highly of you, his friends and family. His smile, his laughter, his humility, his positive attitude, and his love for all of you will be remembered. Thank you again for sharing him with us.

Words can't describe how I felt when I received the call. The call telling me that my handsome and cool cousin, Robert died. It can't be real! No way! I just talked to you when Laverne passed. I'm still in shock. My brain can't comprehend but my heart hurts. Robert, I love you and will miss you. Nadine, I love you. You will remain in my prayers. My parents asked me to add them to this msg. My dad, Junior, is in disbelief and my Mom, Debbie, is so heartbroken.
Searcy/Catoe family, We love you all. We will get through it.

Robert your absence in this work place is in silence and disbelief, I will miss our chats, always ensuring you say hello everyday, (Good morning Ms. Proctor)...I so admire the deep love you consistently demonstrated towards the love of your life, your wife, I am missing seeing you leaving out that front door and returning with flowers for her, the smile on your face of accomplishment. Always inquiring or mentioning what can you do today for her(admirable and respectful man indeed)
To his wife and family, words I do not have, that will express the heartfelt sympathy. Robert may be absent in body, but will always have a special place in our hearts. I am humbly grateful for the short time I knew you Robert

It is with my deepest sympathy that Robert passed away. I remember meeting Robert, Charles, and Michael when we were all just school kids in Brooklyn, NY one Christmas Holiday. Although we all only met once I remember that day was lots of fun...laughing, eating, dancing. I already knew Laverne and Lorenzo because they came to New York often. Those were good days.....days when we were care free and just being kids! I wish the family godspeed.

Trust in God because he knows how to soothe a weary heart and know that Robert is reunited with his parents, his brother and sister and scores of other family. God bless you all!
