

Rudy Manuel Faison was born on November 18, 1953 in Washington, DC to the late Rudolph Faison and Vernette Rich White. He was the oldest of seven children. One brother, Anthony C. White preceded him in death.
He attended Washington, DC Public Schools: Charles Young Elementary, Hart Jr. High, and Spingarn High School.
Rudy truly embraced life and his passions were music, dominoes, pinochle, and meeting new friends. Another skill Rudy acquired was cutting hair. He enjoyed practicing his trade on family and close friends. He was a Washington Post contractor for 8 years and enjoyed the quiet and serenity of working in the early a. m. hours.
Rudy was an avid sports fan and loved the Washington Commanders (Redskins).
Rudy leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Vernette White; 2 children, Burudi Faison, Nakia Faison-Venning (Raji); 3 brothers, Gregory Faison, Kevin White (Nora), Robert Darvell Brown (Cornellus); 2 sisters, Nadine Smith (Jesse), Karen White (Dion); 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 aunts, Eloise Hatch (Kinston, NC), Dorothy Herring (Newport News, VA); 1 special friend, Deborah Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
