Saeeda Kotera Lewis

Saeeda Lewis was born on May 21, 1985 in Washington, DC to Karen E. Lewis and Samual C. Gilchrist, Jr. She departed this life suddenly on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the age of 34. Sadeea was the oldest out of her five sibling.

Saeeda received her education through the Prince Georges County Public School System. Saeeda loved listening to music while cooking and cleaning.

Saeeda was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. Saeeda enjoyed living life with family and friends. She enjoyed her glass of wine from time to time. Saeeda enjoyed walking her children to school while listening to da baby (artist) every morning.

Saeeda leaves to cherish her loving memories: dad Samuel Conway Gilchrist, Jr., stephmother Elise Lillian Gilchrist; her four children Eric Jr., Naijae, Malaijah and Nicholas Jr.; grandmother Laura Lewis; grandfather Walter Lewis; five brothers and sisters Joshua Lewis, Yasmime Lewis, Selena Lewis, Jamal Lewis and Catrena James. Her bestfriend’s Katrina and Shameika Hampton, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, niece and cousins.

Saeeda was preceded in death by her mom Karen E. Lewis; and cousin Michael Harvison, Jr.
