

Born July 14, 1960, in Washington, DC., Tim Butler was the first born to Thomas Butler, (preceded in death) and Pearleen Butler. He had one sister, and one brother. He attended John Burroughs Elementary School, Taft Junior High School, and McKinley High School in Washington D.C. He graduated from Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
After High School, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he served his country in numerous places around the world including Japan. After his military service, he worked for Xerox Corporation in Arlington Virginia, and then over 15 years at Tamko Roofing Company in Frederick, Maryland where he lived until moving to Annapolis, Maryland in 2022.
Tim was an avid traveler, who explored his interests in history and geography. He traveled extensively, especially to the Caribbean. He also traveled throughout the U.S. including Las Vegas, Nevada and Miami, Florida.
He enjoyed sports since he was a little boy. His knowledge of the game helped his family and friends enjoy watching the game.
His easy-going personality touched everyone around him with his quick wit. He was smart and he had a way of making us laugh. It was just a good time when he was around.
He is survived by his mother, Pearleen Butler; daughters, Tiffany Pearl Butler, and Timeka Ganelle Butler; brother, Thomas Butler III; sister, Vivienne Butler; aunts, Francine Cornish and Deborah Spann; and cousin Allison Archie. He was especially close to his cousins, Gregory White, Joseph Cornish, Anthony Cornish, and John Spann. Has many other relatives and friends.
