Passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 in Olney, MD. Husband of Carole E. Hawkins; father of Carweyla M. Hawkins and Weyland J. (Andrea) Hawkins, Jr.; grandfather of Weyland J. Hawkins, III and Riley M. Hawkins. Also survived by his mother, Bessie E. Hawkins; a brother, Benjamin L. Hawkins, Jr.; two sisters, Lynne H. Galloway and Beverly H. Carter; a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, July 26 with a visitation from 12:30 p.m. until time of service 1:30 p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
