Jean was born July 11, 1946 at Chanute, Kansas to William Jonathan and Lois Marian (Witten) Hartley. She graduated from Arvada, CO High School with the Class of 1964. She worked as a loan officer and operations manager for a bank in southern California for several years before moving to Colorado where she worked with her sister and brother-in-law Janie and Craig Neff at LightSeam LLC as an administrative assistant.
She met her soul mate, Danny M. Brewer, in Colorado and the couple moved to Bridgeport in 2008 to be closer to family. Jean loved living in Bridgeport and truly made it her home. She was a volunteer at the Bridgeport Head Start for several years.
Jean was everybody’s Grandma! She enjoyed the outdoors – fishing, camping, flowers, watching the stars, and just being with her loving family and friends. Her greatest loves were Meadow and her grandkids; she had a love/hate relationship with her son-in-law Jammy.
Jean is survived by her soul mate, Danny M. Brewer; daughter and son-in-law Meadow and Jammy Todd; grandchildren Bryanna Hartley, Megann Todd, Daniel Todd, and Angelle Todd; sisters Janie (Craig) Neff and Donna Edmett; four nephews, and several extended family members.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter Tina Shantelle Brower.
