

A lifelong Nebraskan, he was born on January 22, 1929, to Elmer and Frieda in Julian, Nebraska. Dr. Teten dedicated his life to education and service. He earned his Master’s Degree in Education from Peru State College and wend to receive his Doctorate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. His academic achievements reflected a deep commitment to learning and teaching – values that shaped his professional life and left a lasting impact on those around him.
In addition to his contributions in his education, Dr. Teten served his country honorably during the Korean War as a member of the United States Navy. His military service was a source of pride and exemplified his dedication to duty and country.
Dr. Teten was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty, grandson Dustin and his parents.
He is survived by his children Ron (Pam) and Mitzi (Doug), as well as his granddaughter Erin (Joe).
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
A private family service will be held at later date. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire future generations.
