Jean 'Reva Hoagland

Jean “Reva” Hoagland, 65 of Bayard, died at her home Monday, December 12, 2005. At her request cremation will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 17, 2005 at the Hope Congregational Church in Bayard with Pastor Ted Meter officiating. Inurnment will be in the Bayard Cemetery.      She was born January 10, 1940 in Scottsbluff to Floyd and Fern (Wilson) Nation and received her early education in the Lake Minatare school and graduated from Scottsbluff High School. She married Richard Hoagland in August 1959 at Harrison, NE, and they made their home in Minatare.      Jean worked at Midwec prior to starting her family after which she became an Avon sales representative for several years. She also worked at Chimney Rock Villa and the Western Nebraska Veterans Home. She also was a rural mail carrier.      Survivors include son Michael Hoagland of Kabul, Afghanistan; daughter Julie and husband Allen Fiscus of Bayard; grandchildren Laramie Hoagland, of Needville, TX, Wyatt and Lexi Fiscus of Bayard and sister Leona Mowry of Gering, NE.      Her parents preceded her in death.
