Marilyn J. (Bohac) Minar

Marilyn J. Minar, 65 of Bridgeport, NE passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Skyview of Bridgeport.

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Church of Christ with Pastor Jonathan Seng officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery in Bridgeport.  A memorial has been established to the family.  Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.bbchapels.com.  Bridgeport Memorial Chapel & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

Marilyn was born on December 9, 1948 at Kimball to John and Verla (Sharp) Bohac. She received her early education at Kimball, graduating from Kimball High School in 1968. She married Joe Minar, Jr. and made their home in Bridgeport, Nebraska. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Kimball.

She enjoyed recycling, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved helping others and doing anything she could to lend a hand.  She was a very active woman that always liked to stay busy. She loved her children very much and all their accomplishments.

Marilyn is survived by her three daughters Jana Minar of Bridgeport, Melinda Thompson of Arizona and Amy VannAytch of Colorado; step son Joe Minar; twelve grandchildren, two step grandchildren, one great grandchild and two step great grandchildren; three sisters, two brothers and her mother Verla Bohac of Kimball.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, two brothers, father and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
