Mary was born October 10, 1913 at Volpiano, Torino, Italy to Joseph and Theresa (Delsidemi) Davicco. She came to America with her family when she was seven years old and grew up on a farm in the Broadwater area. Mary was united in marriage to Peter Ardissono on February 10, 1934 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dalton. They farmed for two years at Oshkosh then moved to their farm near Broadwater where they farmed until their retirement and moved into Bridgeport. Mary was widowed in 1985. In May of 2009 she moved to the Cottages at Heritage Estates in Gering where she lived for three years before returning to Bridgeport in August of 2012 and living at Skyview at Bridgeport. Mary greatly enjoyed her time with family and friends, especially drinking coffee in the morning and afternoon with friends downtown. Mary was a member of All Souls Catholic Church. She faithfully prayed the Rosary. Her secrets to a long life were chocolate and ""taking exercise.""
