Tia Michelle Jacobs

She was born on February 8, 1972, in Portland, Oregon, to Warren Sims and Cheryl Kinsley. Her childhood was very busy with an older brother, Mark Sims, and younger sister, Staci Reynolds.

She graduated from Kelso High, Washington. She then went on the get her CNA from Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This achievement allowed her to work in nursing homes assisting with multiple levels of care and compassion. She would become very attached to the residents. When the opportunity for Home Health was offered, she answered the call.

Her sense of humor was abundant. Even when tying the knot with love of her life, Stuart “Louie” Jacobs, on April Fool’s Day in 2000. This union raised 4 children, Cody Shipley, Dylan Jacobs, Rio Harsen, and Ryan Jacobs.

Her favorite hobby was giving thoughtful gifts to her close friends and family. She also had a gift of Gab. Even when watching her favorite movie or TV show, she would start talking about her thoughts. She always had a lot to say with her busy mind. This was her talent and so was taking care of others.

The cremation has taken place with Bridgeport Memorial Chapel. The family would like to thank all the people that touched Tia’s life and keep your eyes open; you might get one more of her little gifts!
