After moving back to Nebraska, Teka worked for several rest homes and also as an independent home health care giver for many years. Her last job was working as a veterinarian assistant. Teka was a very kind and loving person, always ready to help someone that needed help, whether with a computer, taxes, school project, even sharing her home at times with those who needed help. My cousin Teka was a beautiful soul. Kind, giving, intelligent are just a few words that describe her. There were a handful of us cousins that were the same age, and to lose one of us so young is heart breaking. My loving thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences to all of Teka's family, and many, many friends. Our hearts are heavy with her loss, but her light is shining so bright right now with those that we have lost before her. She has been greeted with loving arms and I have no doubt that she is in a happy place.
I wish you all peace and comfort in the coming days. God bless you all.

You never said Goodbye, Teka. You were gone before we knew it- and only God knows why. God’s plans aren’t our plans.
You were a very kind sister- a sweet soul-caring with a heart as big as the ocean. I keep finding gifts you gave to me- angel figurines, jewelry and a certain ball cap. I keep seeing you standing in your kitchen, or visiting at moms, and thinking about our trip to Sheridan, WY two years ago this month. ♥️
I’m sure going to miss you. We all are. See ✨you on the other ✨side of the ✨stars ✨ 🇺🇸💝💌✝️♥️ Sweet Sister.

Teka you were the best big sister a girl could ask for. You have a bigger heart than anyone I have ever known. I will miss you every day until I see you again.

Teka was one of a kind! Maybe, not; she reminded me a lot of Ken. She was so laid back, easy going, not getting too excited. I had not seen her in quite awhile, but saw her and Mike recently and had a nice chat. She will be missed. Eternal rest be granted unto her. Let the Perpetual Light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. 🙏✝️❤️🌹
