Dear Dad,

Happy Father's Day in heaven!  You are missed and loved very much dad! Time passes, but it feels like yesterday that God called you home.

So much has happened since the last time I wrote to you. Louis graduated Kindergarten! He did an amazing job! We expected no less being that I was his teacher LOL!!! He loves loves math and has a great interest in painting and creating things. First grade here he comes!!!

Neil wrapped up freshman year with second honors! He was remote this year and is lookin forward  to returning to in person learning in the fall.  He continues to be such a good natured and kind young man with a very good personality and sense of humor. His laugh is contagious.

Farrah made her first Holy Communion and to say that she looked like a princess is an understatement! She is sassy (in a good way) and so sweet.  Farrah is now taking hockey lessons ( like father like daughter).  As small as she is, is as tough as she is.  Farrah is the best combination of Lu and Vinny!

Olivia just completed fifth grade with honors! She is so smart.  Things just come easy to her.  Her love is basketball.  She is amazing at it and takes pride in playing.  I cannot believe how fast she is growing up. You would be so proud of her. You would be so  proud of all of them dad.

Dearest Neil,

Today marks FOUR years since you have been gone. Time passes by in a blink and at the same time it feels like forever. Words cannot properly express how much I miss you. 

Your girls are all well. Kathy had a little accident, but she is on the mend. She and I were talking the other day about when she was stuck on the floor when her back went out...LOL. 

Your grandchildren are all thriving. They are healthy and beautiful. Neil is a lot like you with his joking around. He is a special young man. I cannot believe that he is 15 years old already! Olivia in a mini version of our LULU in everyway. Livi is very athletic and already 10 years old! Farrah is a girly girl and a daddy's girl who just started playing hockey. Seven years old and so unique. Louis is five and kindergarten may never be the same again..lol...He is smart and such a strong little boy. You would be proud of all of them. There is a little bit of you in each of them.

Your sister is doing well and hope to see her soon after this covid comes to a safe end.

My days pass by and I continue to get joy and happiness from our children and grandchildren but you are missing. That void will never be filled. 

Please watch over me and put in a good word to the Lord to keep me here for a bit longer LOL.. Continue to watch over all of us. Give my sister a hug for me !

Happy fourth anniversary in heaven.  I cannot believe that it has been four years that you have been gone! 

Life is pretty tough here these days and you have to continue to watch over all of us, especially mommy.

You are thought, spoken about, missed and loved everyday! 

Neil started high school! It is crazy to see how fast he is turning into a young man. He is respectful, kind, and sensitive. Olivia has morphed into a sports diva! She loves basketball and softball. Farrah is a fashionista who just started playing hockey! Louis just started kindergarten and yes, his hobby is still eating...LOL..

Mommy is coming along well. She is strong and determined. Aunt Kathy was talking about coming up for a visit but covid is out of control.

Happy Birthday in Heaven!  It has been too long since I wrote to you. Know that not one day passes that you are not loved or spoken about! You would have been 75 years old today! We celebrated today with your memory for the first time since you have been gone.

Your children are making you prouder everyday. All three of them are strong women! They are all smart, loving, caring and above all good human beings.

Your grand children are simply amazing!!! Neil is off to high school! He is going to be 15 years old this month! He is so much like you in so many ways!!! He works hard and never gives up! Livi is so much like our LuLu! She dreams big and is so athletic! Livi loves school so much and is always a gentle soul! Farrah is such a whip! She is creative and such a good girl! She ALWAYS remembers the cookies! She is insightful! Louis is doing so well. He is healthy and strong! He is five, but is BIGGER than little Farrah! Louis LOVES, LOVES and yes LOVES food. He ate four hot dogs today and asked for a fifth because he is FIVE years old! LMAO!

Dear Dad,

 Today would have been you 75th birthday! Happy Birthday in heaven dad!  Today was the first time that we barbecued since you have been gone. We grilled chicken, hot dogs and burgers.  YOU were the master of the grill!!! 

You would be so very proud of Neil! He took the pool down last week and he is going to tile the kitchen! He is so much like you with things like that. He is off to high school in September!!! He is such a good boy!

Livi is going into grade 5 and is an amazing basketball player. She is so smart and confident. She is LuLu's clone. She is witty, kind and BEAUTIFUL inside and out. She is such a good girl!

Farrah is going into grade 2 in September! Farrah is a firecracker!  She is artsy and sassy in a good way. She is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. She has the best of LuLu and Vinny! She is the one who will make Vinny grow hair! LOL

Louis is FIVE and starting KINDERGARTEN in September! He is so bad dad! LMAO! He is soooo smart and inquisitive. He is healthy and thriving! His favorite food is meatballs!! SHOCKER!!! He eats more than Neil and pretty much everyone!

Watch over mommy! She and all of us miss and love you everyday! You are spoken about so much!

Happy Third Anniversary in heaven. You are missed and thought about every single day! We found a video of you the other day and it was comforting to hear your voice.
So much is going on. Neil is in the eighth grade and getting ready for high school! He is such a good boy with a good heart. Olivia is growing up so fast. She is smart and sooo sincere. Farrah is a fire cracker! She will be the one to make Vinny grow hair! LOL....Louis is 4 already and just started school. He is a good kid and Neil is a great big brother to him. His favorite food is meatball! He eats like a man..lol...You would be so proud of them all! Farrah still remembers the cookies!  Lulu is healthy and doing well. Helen has been through so much with Louis's health issues and has been sooo strong. Thank God all is well now. Both of them are amazing mothers. Dear Picky,

Time is cruel when the ones that you love most are no longer here to share is life's special moments. I take you along with me now through these times.  I love and miss you very much and I know that you are watching over me. You would be so proud of your grandchildren! Farrah STILL askes me to give her cookies from PaPa. Neil is just like you...VERY FRUGAL (LOL). I actually saw the butterflies come out of his wallet when he opened it!!!!He is a gentle and kind young man. Olivia is such a smart little girl. Funny and inquisitive and a picture of our LULU.  Louis is healthy and thriving now. He has that appetite of a MAN. Your girls are all beautiful and well. Your sister is missing you very much but she is strong like we are. I am sort of lost. Missing you and Lorraine is too much. I now know why it was so important to you for us to take that last vacation to Florida. You had to say your goodbyes to my sunshine. I am glad that we went. 

It is very difficult for me to write on here. Holidays and everyday are just not the same without you . A link is missing. We may have had our differences BUT at the end of the day we were always a team.  I loved you then. I love you now..forever, always and more and more than that.

Dad.....Time goes by very quickly but no matter how fast it goes by, it feels like yesterday that God called you home. I was pulling my car out of the driveway today and noticed that your prized fig tree is in bloom. I think that this is the year that it will harvest.

I know that you are with me because I can feel you around me. I never really understood others when they said that about loved ones who passed on....now I do.....I dream about you a lot and they feel real.

You would be so proud of your grandchildren. Neil is growing up so strong...so kindhearted and handsome.. Olivia is as sharp as a whip...so smart and a picture of LuLu....Farrah is a firecracker. She is fearless and so very cute. Louis is something! He is healthy now and growing at a rapid rate..lol.

Sadly, I just recently found out that Neil has passed away. When I worked at MetLife, Neil worked with us.  He always kept us laughing.  I know how much he loved his family.
