Claire Cardinale

She was born in Bronx, NY on April 18, 1931. She lived her entire life on Bogart Avenue.

Claire was the loving wife of the late Edward J. Cardinale, devoted Mother of Lori-Beth Giannasca, Keri-Ann Gallo, Gina Calle and Lynn Vance.

Loving Grandmother of Nicholas & Alessandra Giannasca, GianPaul , Joseph & Michaelangelo Calle, Laura & Lisa Vance.

Claire was especially fond of her son in laws, Nick, Tommy & George who she looked upon as her own children.

Dear Sister of Elaine Casey & Sister of the late Janet Pharo & Warren Buchholz.

Dear Cousin of Virginia Karl who she adored and held very dear.

Dear Aunt to many nieces & nephews. Claire had a special place in her heart for her nephew Alan Buchholz & his family.

Claire worked in the NY Telephone Company from 1948 to May 1985. After retiring Claire ,who never could be found sitting still, began her own jewelry business and later in life enjoyed working at Dress Barn as a sales associate.

Claire loved to play bingo, shop, dine, crochet, travel & of course chat with her girlfriends from the neighborhood & the senior center.

She is a one of a kind lady that will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
