Annette Bruns

Our Beloved Mother, Annette Francis Bruns (Bucholz), was called home to Heaven on May 9, 2024, at age 84. Loving mother of Jon Bruns (Chris), Debra DiPadova (John), Kathryn Bruns, and Mark Bruns (Lisa). Grandma of Jeffrey (deceased), Ryan, Trudi (Steven), Chelsea, Ben, Anthony (Sarah), Tyler, Andrew, and Hailey. Great grandma of four. Further survived by sisters Carol (Bob), and Sharon (Omer, deceased) and nephews and nieces.

Annette’s abundance of love for others, including her family and friends, was immeasurable. She would greet you with a smile or a hug and would always ask about your day. Annette always had a joke ready and was eager to hear one in return. Her fun-filled spirit kept everyone young at heart. For the last four years, Annette developed some very special friendships while residing at the senior living complex in New Berlin, WI. She rarely missed the weekly Happy Hour sipping on her favorite Irish Crème while enjoying good conversation with anyone who would join her. Annette shared and embraced her Catholic faith. She tuned into Catholic television daily and prayed the Rosary weekly. Annettes joy, love, kindness, love for nature and animals, along with a fighting spirit will be deeply missed. Mom, you are now resting in peace, and one day, we will see you over the rainbow.

Visitation will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park (13235 W. Capitol Drive) on Wednesday June 5th from 1:00PM –until time of Catholic Service at 2:30PM .
