

Betty Ann Brown, 95 years young, passed away peacefully with family at her side on December 3, 2026. Betty was born on April 1, 1930, in Waukegan, IL. Betty was married to Robert (Bob) Brown for 47 years and together they created a family full of love and laughter. Betty faced many challenges during her lifetime, including the diagnosis of a congenital heart defect when she was a teenager and being told she would die in childbirth as a young wife. Despite these obstacles, Betty and Bob had three children: Peggy, Gail, and Bill. Betty survived three open heart surgeries, had a never-ending desire to learn, a passion for multiple creative pursuits and an endless amount of energy and love for her family and friends. Betty was proud of her associate’s degree in interior design she earned at 50 years old. She was a talented seamstress and well known for her love of collecting everything including Hallmark ornaments, antique toys, Swarovski crystals. In her later year, she developed a talent for making and collecting porcelain dolls and. Betty loved traveling to Sweden, France, Germany, and China.
Beloved wife of late husband, Robert Brown. Wonderful Mom to her children Peggy (Bill) Oberbeck, Gail Brown (David Imse), and Bill (Shirley) Brown, loving grandmother to Robert (Beth) Oberbeck, and Tracy Imse.
Memorial visitation will be held at 10:30 am, service - 11:00 am, lunch 12:00, burial at 12:45 pm Wisconsin Memorial Park 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wi on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
