Her legacy lives on through 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Survived by nieces LaVerne Gast (the late Nick); Nancy Sisulak (John) and their families. Preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Lorraine and LaVerne; her husbands Robert Lang and John Birch.
Our mother was the heart of our family, she was patient, kind and loving. She had a wonderful gift for cooking and baking, passed down from her mother and lovingly shared with her daughters. We will always remember her love of apple crisp and all desserts. A woman of many talents, she was a gifted seamstress, avid gardener, home decorator and enjoyed bridge and card games.
Dolores enjoyed live entertainment at The Melody Top as well as John Denver and Johnny Mathis concerts with her daughters. She believed in a healthy lifestyle with diet, exercise and home made meals cooked from scratch. She was a pioneer, recycling since the 1960’s.
Dolores was active in The Christian Mothers Association at St. Veronica and St. John Vianney Churches when the girls attended grade school.
Dolores resided at the Gables of Germantown Assisted Living. Our family is deeply grateful to the entire staff for their kind, loving care they provided to our mom.
Her greatest legacy is the love she left behind. We will carry her spirit into every large, noisy, family gathering, honoring her memory with the good food, deep love and laughter she taught us to cherish.
Celebration of life will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, October 10, 2026. See Wisconsin Memorial Park website for details.
