Mary Ann Lorenz

Born to Eternal Life on August 14, 2023 at the age of 95. Reunited with her beloved late husband Ted. Mother of Steve (Anna) Lorenz, Barbara (James) Brown and Nancy Graffenius. Grandmother of Nikki Beilfuss, John (Becky) Lorenz, Jim (Dolores) Brown, Michael Brown, Katy (Chris) O’Connor, Melissa (Carlos) Fuentes, Paul (Kathryn) Graffenius and Cathy (Nate) Kreiter. Known as “GG” to her 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers in Appleton, WI.

Mary Ann was born and raised in Appleton, WI. She met Ted, the love of her life, in 6th grade and they were happily married for 68 years. They lovingly raised their children in Milwaukee. She was a dedicated homemaker. They lived in New Orleans for 15 years, and when Ted retired, they moved back to Wisconsin to be with family. Mary Ann enjoyed cross-stitching, needlepoint, knitting and playing cards.

Visitation will be Monday August 21, 2023 at Wisconsin Memorial Park CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 13253 W. Capitol Dr. in Brookfield, WI from 1pm until time of service at 2pm. Entombment to follow.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Dickson Hollow, Congregational Home and Brighton Hospice for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.
