Rob passed away peacefully Sunday, November 1, 2026 at the age of 69 years. Rob is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Janet (Nee DiNardo), 2 children; Jonathan (Stephanie) Ladd and Jessica (Dean) Sperstad, cherished grandchildren; Quinn, Jasper, Spencer, and Brady Ladd, Leif and Eli Sperstad and brother-in-law; Greg Gehring. Rob is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rob is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ladd (Barbara) and mother; Maria Strong (Truman) and sister, Karen Gehring.
A celebration of Rob’s life will take place on Thursday, November 12, at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive. Visitation begins at 10:00AM until the memorial service at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be given in memory of Rob to Wisconsin Humane Society.
