Roman J Butzlaff

Roman J. "Romy" Butzlaff, Born June 3, 1918 and passed away on Thur. June 26, 2014 from complications following a hip fracture in February 2014. Beloved husband of the late Marianne (nee Urbaniak). Devoted father of Virginia "Ginger" (Michael) Baughard of Richmond, VA. Brother of Mary (the late Stan) Truss, and the late Leo (the late Angie) Butzlaff. Uncle of Donna, Art, Eddie Jr., Myron, Audrey, Carole, Joyce and Andy. Great uncle of Griffin. Also preceded in death buy his parents Boniface and Anna Butlaff, nephews Dennis and Dave Truss. Also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews and many other cherished family and friends. Roman flew P47's and P40's in the Army Air Force. He was a loyal employee of Inland Container for 62 years. Roman followed the Brewers and Packers and loved musky fishing. He lovingly cared for Marianne by himself. Roman will be deeply missed by Ginger and Bard.

Funeral Mass Saturday, July 12, 11 am at St. Matthias Church, 9306 W. Beloit Rd.. Visitation Saturday at the Church from 10 am until time of Mass. Roman's urn will be privately placed next to Marianne at Holy Cross Cemetery.
