Ron loved his family, God, and his country. He served in the Korean war. He enjoyed downhill skiing and snowmobiling in the winter and water skiing, camping and spending time at the family cabin in Montello during the summers. Ron and his wife, Diane, were members of a dance club for many years.
He and his brother owned their own business, Joes Auto Top, and were respected throughout the region for their skill in auto upholstery. Upon retirement he looked forward to the weekly breakfast with the boys and being a “snowbird” in Florida each year for several months. He enjoyed the hot sun and water aerobics in the pool. He even went to spin class at the local YMCA. He worked part time at Bennett Coachworks helping to restore classic hot rods and vintage cars.
Ron was a humble, caring, kind, generous man, saver of all things to be used again. He could fix anything especially if it had a zipper! He will be missed by many.
His family would like to thank all the kind caregivers at Luther Manor and St Croix hospice.
