Uncle Ron...you were the welcome mat for everyone entering into the lair known as the Saidler Christmas. As one of the longest additions to the clan I got to experience and then witness every new guy that was dating a saidler cousin walk into the party and think to themselves..."what have I gotten myself into"...without exception the fears soon turned into conversation and a smile. That first conversation and smile was always Ron. You set the bar for success pretty high. Your kids are lasting tributes to the true Champion that you are.  I hope I can reach your heights of success.

I'm very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. It's been many years since I have seen him but I occasionally think back on when we were kids growing up in Milwaukee. I know he was very good to my parents over the years.  Ron and his family will be in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Ron's passing.  You probably don't remember me, but I remember being at Ron & Pat's wedding.  Looking at these pictures, he looks so much like his dad Jim.  I am Bob Krysinski's daughter, Laurie, so Audrey & I were first cousins.  We moved away 25 years ago, but my family updates me.  God Bless you all, & I'm sorry for your loss.

I will never forget the look on his face when he realized I needed a cast after injuring myself before a parade. I didn't want to march, but he thought I was kidding and his heart sank at the next rehearsal when he saw I needed the cast. He always treated all of us Conns like his children and his mentoring, fathering spirit will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  It sounds like Ron, or as "Uncle Ronnie" as my niece and nephew referred to him, was a wonderful man.  I moved away 32 years ago so haven't seen him in years.  It was nice to see the all the great photos. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time. I know he will be missed.

What a beautiful tribute to Ron. I loved the photo slides. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray you will hold tight to these memories and never forget how much he loved you all.

We have lost touch over the years. Looking at pictures I remember all of the good years our families shared on Herbert Ave. May you rest in peace, Ron. Pat-thinking of you and the rest of the family during this hard time.

Our time together the past several weeks will remain in my heart with all the joys our families have shared together.  The love, kindness and strength you gave him during this overwhelmingly difficult struggle was truly a reflection of the love he gave to you as a husband and father.
