Dear Dori,on hearing of the passing of your brother Rudy we were saddened. But We know that you must be taking great comfort in our Lord Jesus Christ. I had the honor of meeting Rudy at the DMV – one might wonder how this all transpired.  I was there to get a new license and heard a couple of guys coming in – talking, and laughing.  The laughter is what caught my attention – so I looked up and seen Rudy.  I smiled to myself and said that's Dori's brother.  I remember seeing Rudy from a picture that was in the Kenosha Newspaper.  I went over to introduce myself to Rudy and told him that I knew his sister Dori.  He SMILED REAL BIG and started talking to me as if he knew me forever.  His smile was so contagious, because when I looked around the DMV everyone, even the counter people were smiling when they heard Rudy speaking.  He was a man who knew how to grab someone's attention.

Rudy was a kind and gentle soul.  I remember meeting him and being amazed at his outlook on life.  He was an inspiration to all of us.  I know you'll miss him dearly.

Dori although I never had the honor of meeting Rudy-I felt like I knew him through you because you always carried him so close to your heart.and it showed when you shared his memories with me. He truly was one of a kind and I admired him from a distance -his love for life always captured me in a special way and showed me that life is what you make it. His memory will forever live on through you. May you find comfort in God's love and in knowing that Rudy is entertaining angels with his unique humor..

I never had the pleasure of meeting Rudy but I know from listening to Dori, that he was a special peson and truly loved by many.  My prayers to the family and friends of Rudy.

I have thought of Rudy quite often over the years. Remembering that smile and quick wit to make you laugh. He truly was "A Little Angel". 

Philippians 1:23-24 I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. 

Yes, it breaks my heart. But I am comforted by believing Rudy is in a better place with our Father. May the Lord bless your hearts and help you through this time of sadness.
