Shirley L. Spotts

She attended Milwaukee School of Technology obtaining her nursing license in April of 1957. She then began working at St. Joeseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI where she spent most of her career before moving to Arizona in 1988. She then worked at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City retiring in 2001 serving 44 years as a nurse.

She enjoyed a very active and fulfilling lifestyle, by travelling both domestically and internationally visiting as many sites as possible and were available. She was active in the Church (Church of the Palms in AZ.), and the community with Habitat for Humanity, and other organizations. She enjoyed Golf, Lawn Bowling, Pickleball, Snow Skiing and being a seamstress of which much of her wardrobe contained. She also enjoyed training German Shepards earlier in her life.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Jeannette) Spotts, of Lisbon WI, and Jon (Tina Eickermann) Spotts of Richfield WI. Two grandchildren, Carly Spotts of West Allis WI., and Ryan Spotts of Westpoint CA. Her Brother Norman (Alice) Faulstich of St. Petersburg FL. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Bernice (Techam) Faulstich, and her sister Joanne (Faulstich) Gutknecht.

This “Celebration of Life” will be held Tuesday, April 9th at Wisconsin Memorial Park 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield WI in the Memorial Buildings Great Memorial Lounge. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., with a short service to follow at 11:00 a.m. We will take some time to allow people to share their thoughts after the service, followed by a lunch right there in the Great Memorial Lounge.
