I was so very sad to hear of the loss of Sr. T; but I know she is laughing with the Lord.  My most favorite memory of Sr. Teresa was upon my arrival home from Bulgaria after adopting our daughter, Ani.  The adoption didn't go as we had planned, and we were feeling overwhelmed.  I remember Sr. Teresa coming up to me after I had returned to work, put her arms around me and called me "a courageous woman of faith."  I will never forget those words.  She knew exactly what to say at exactly the right time.  She was a remarkable woman and we are all fortunate for having known her.

GOD is the best knower. Sr. Teresa was such a peaceful presence at The Academy of Learning and Leadership. She was also a very warm and welcoming addition to Milwaukee College Prep LH. Sr. Teresa always had a kind word and genuine concern for my family and she will be missed dearly.

I was fortunate enough to not only have Sr. Teresa at DSHA, but also to spend many summer days with her out at Lake Beulah over the years. I loved catching up with her. She was always smiling and always so interested in hearing about what my classmates were up to after graduation. We are sad to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful, wonderful teacher and friend who will undoubtedly be missed by many.
