Abraham W. Berger, of Newtonville, 91, on Monday, August 25, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Helene (Cooper) Jackson, and the loving father of Emily Berger (Jose Gutierrez), Sarah Berger (Gavin Miles), and Deborah Berger (Larry Todisco), and stepfather of Jonathan Jackson (Karen Cariani), David Jackson, and the late Robin Jackson. Adored grandfather of Elizabeth, Rebecca, Benjamin, Aaron, David, Dakota, Cooper, Jessica and Jeremy. Dear brother of the late Rose Steinberg, and former husband of Mary (Becker) Berger. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory may be made to the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
