

Adina Sharon, 64, of Newton, MA, died Friday evening, July 1, 2016 at home in her sleep. Born in Bucharest Romania, Adina was the daughter of Schari and the late Varda Sharon, and the sister of Jacqueline and Andre.
As a child in Romania, Adina excelled in sports, especially swimming and gymnastics. She immigrated with her family to Israel in 1962 and then to the United States in 1969. Over the years, Adina lived in Los Angeles, New York City, Fort Lauderdale Florida, and Medford and, most recently, Newton Massachusetts. She worked in graphic design, commercial art, clothing sales, airplane navigation instruction, Yiddish theatre production and, most notably, restaurant management – specifically Rappaport’s in Fort Lauderdale, which she co-owned with her life and business partner of many years – Jerry Kerbis. Adina lived in Massachusetts since 1994, where she was very close to her parents, sister and brother, brother and sister in-law Mercio and Judit, and her nieces and nephews Bridget, Valerie, Brit, Jeffrey, and Samuel.
A graveside service and burial will be held Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Or Emet Cemetery, 776 Baker St, West Roxbury, MA, followed by lunch at Jacqueline and Mercio's home.
