Agnes "Aggie" Miriam Young

Agnes Miriam (Kazis) Young, of Cresskill, NJ and Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Newton on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Born February 11, 1928, daughter of the late Harry and Anna Kazis. Loving wife of the late David Young. Beloved mother of Ruth Segal & her husband Steven and Michael Young & his wife Gloria. Devoted grandmother to Howard, Eric, and Andrea Segal and Douglas, Richard, and Melissa Young. Cherished sister of Earle Kazis & his late Judy, the late Shirlee Shrago & her husband Daniel and the late Albert Kazis & his wife Roseleah. Adored Auntie Aggie to all. Aggie was a graduate of Forsythe School of Dental Hygiene. She devoted many years to her community and synagogue life. She was a native New Englander who spent her later years in Lake Worth, Florida and Cresskill, New Jersey. Aggie was a beacon of light to all who knew her, her kindness and positivity overflowing. Services on Thursday, May 3rd, 1pm at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St, Brookline followed by interment at Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, 2690 Centre St, West Roxbury. Shiva will continue Sunday, May 6th through Tuesday, May 8 in Cresskill, NJ. Shiva will also be held Monday, May 7th in Dresher, PA. Contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
