Alan Steven Ehrens

Alan Steven Ehrens of Ashland, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021. Alan was born in Providence, Rhode Island, grew up in Cranston, RI and graduated from Bryant College, also in RI. He spent his career in sales and had meaningful relationships with his customers.

He was a sports enthusiast and had a special love for his Boston Celtics and other Boston teams.

Alan was the son of Richard Ehrens (predeceased) and Sylvia (Schwartz) Mandell and is survived by his sisters, Susan Ehrens (Leland Rice) of Oakland, CA and Alisa Garner (Richard Garner) of Weston, CT, by his mother Sylvia Mandell of Oakland, CA and step-mother, Sheila Ehrens of Warwick, RI. Alan is also survived by his ex-wife, Karen Ehrens of Northbridge, MA and son Timothy Cappetta (Jennifer) of Everett, MA and daughter Naomi Ehrens of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private graveside service was held at Beit Olam East Cemetery, Wayland, MA on Friday, September 10, 2021.
