Arnold Kimenker

Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Feigin) Kimenker with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. Born in Hartford, CT, he was raised by his aunt & uncle, Ethel and Herman Rosansky.

Father of Patricia Nash & her husband Greg of Bangor, ME. Stepfather of Dr. Kenneth Jacobs & his wife Dr. Sharon Jacobs Schwartz of Valley Village, CA and Robert Jacobs of Worcester. Brother of the late Larry Kimenker, Jerry Kimenker and Barbara Chazan. He was like a brother to the late Barbara R. Jordan & her husband Dr. Herbert S. Jordan, Shirley R. Goldberg and Arlene R. Schlapak. He was lovingly cared for by his cousin Dawn Jordan and his niece Ellen Jacobs Martin. He is also survived by his uncle David Pollack of Canton, CT; nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and a great-great nephew; and his pride and joy, his dog Jilly.

Mr. Kimenker enjoyed dancing with his wife Evelyn. He was an avid tennis player and poker player. He loved being with his family & friends and had a great sense of humor. He worked for 70 years as a barber right up until the end of his life. During his career, he also styled and sold wigs.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Former member of the Mt. Pleasant Country Club, B’nai Brith and the Jewish War Veterans.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Temple Emanuel Sinai, 280 May St., Worcester. Interment to follow at B’nai Brith Cemetery.
