Arthur Aaron Kalotkin passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, after a courageous five-year battle with a Parkinson's Disease like syndrome. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Arthur was the beloved son of Nathaniel and Celia Kalotkin, of blessed memory. He was deeply proud of his Jewish heritage and remained devoted to his faith throughout his life, spending every Shabbat at synagogue.
Arthur was a proud graduate of MIT and believed wholeheartedly in the power of education. He encouraged his children to pursue learning with curiosity and determination, and he generously supported organizations dedicated to educating young people about government, economics, and civic responsibility, including the Fund for American Studies. Professionally, Arthur spent more than four decades building and managing a portfolio of real estate properties throughout the Greater Boston area. He took great pride in being a thoughtful landlord, valued his relationships with his tenants, and found satisfaction in the communities he helped create.
Arthur embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He had a lifelong passion for photography and saw the world through the lens of his camera, capturing beauty wherever he traveled. He loved music, fine wine, skiing, and hiking, and one of his greatest joys was sharing those experiences with his family. He made it a priority that his children learned to ski, and he cherished traveling the world together, creating lasting memories through shared adventures and new discoveries.
Arthur is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Abby; his children, Ariel and her husband Alex, Charlie and his wife Elaine; his cherished grandchildren, Oliver and Graham; and his sister, Madeline. He will be remembered for his intellect, generosity, devotion to family and faith, adventurous spirit, and the lasting example he set through a life filled with purpose, integrity, and love.
