Dr. Barry Ruthfield, Age 73, of Framingham, on Friday, June 12, 2015. Son of the late Madeline and Abraham Ruthfield of Wakefield. Loving husband of Ruthann (Liss) Ruthfield for 44 years. Proud father of Mark and his wife Lori and Steven. Devoted brother of Richard Ruthfield. Cherished grandfather of Josh and Zach. Dr. Barry Ruthfield was the Ashland Superintendent of Schools for 22 years. He was an active member and past president of Temple Beth Sholom, co-president of the Metrowest Jewish Day School, and Director of Faculty Placement at Framingham State University's International Educational Center. Services at Temple Beth Sholom, 50 Pamela Rd., Framingham on Monday, June 15 at 11:00AM. Burial at Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery, Natick. Following burial, Shiva will be at his residence until 5PM and continuing 7-9PM; Tuesday & Wednesday, 2-5PM and 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Temple Beth Sholom or Metrowest Jewish Day School which are both located at 50 Pamela Rd. Framingham, MA 01701.
