I remember Barry fondly. I was a caregiver to his companion Wilma. He was always willing to help and he was also very wise. He wrote the most beautiful, well thought out articles I ever read! I just found out today he passed a few years ago. My condolences

Over 50 years have gone since I was first invited into the Zimman home and I met Barry. The same words that one would have used to describe him then would describe him now. Words like quality, integrity and warmth. It was truly our privilege to have known him. Regards to all his sons.

I worked at Zimman's in Lynn (both stores) when Barry's parents were still living. I remember Barry well from the 3 years I was there during my high school years. Zimman's was an important beginning for me and I will always appreciate the family-like atmosphere that ruled the store. Please be assured of my remembrance in prayer to the family.
