Beatrice “Bea” E. Carp of Newton, MA, a true Woman of Valor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the age of ninety-seven. Bea, a woman loved by everyone who knew her, was devoted to her family, friends, and her faith.

In her spare time, she kept an immaculate home, loved to cook, entertain, write caring letters, knit, and read.
Bea’s dedication to her friends was only surpassed by her love and devotion to family, particularly her children, Ann Siegel (Mark); the late Susan Carp Nesson (Daniel); Elliot Carp (Debra): her grandchildren, Benjamin (Samantha); Daniel (Courtney); Rachel and Emma: her great grandsons, Adam, Si, and Mason: to her sister Elinor Goldenberg (the late Eldon): and to their parents, the late Benjamin and Rose Simons throughout their lives.
Graveside service and memorial observance will be private.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Newton Senior Center, 345 Walnut Street, Newton, MA 02460 or a charity of your choice.
