Bert was a very warm and friendly man. I have many fond memories of Bert at Temple Shalom
and the Newton Squash and Tennis Club. Our deepest sympathies go out to his whole family.
He lived an incredibly long life! May he rest eternally in peace.

Bert, Evelyn, Ken, Sumner, Jon are all so indelibly imprinted in my memories and my heart. From my earliest days when we lived " across the hall" from Evie's parents, the entire family was part of my family. I am so saddened and send you all love across the miles and through the years.

I knew Bert from Day 1. Ellie is our neighbor. He lived a good long life and will be sorely missed. He was a gentle soul and lived a good long life.

From here in Finland we send our love and thoughts to you all. I had the good fortune to speak with Bert on numerous occasions when he visited NY with Ellie or called our home to speak with our Mom, Joan, Connie Martison's sister. Peace to the Martinson family. David Tarja and Hannah Yoken

I will miss Bert and his amazing head of hair! Up until recently, he regularly participated in various activities, including anything that had to do with trivia. He was a kind man with a wonderful smile, and I am sorry for your loss.
