Betsy Leuenberger, 82, of Smithfield, RI, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 27, 2026.
Daughter of the late Abraham Figler and Beatrice (Goldstein) Figler. Devoted wife of the late Fredy Leuenberger. Beloved mother of Jennifer and her husband Josh Roth. Cherished grandmother of Aliya Bea Roth.
Betsy was a fiercely independent woman who found great joy in uplifting and encouraging other strong women, especially her daughter and granddaughter. Her strength, warmth, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held at the Sharon Memorial Park Chapel, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA 02067, on Friday, May 29th, at 10:00 am, followed by the interment.
