

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Carole K Berman. she passed on Oct 14, 2025, and she was eighty five. Carole was born in Boston Massachusetts to the late Samuel and Bertha Kirzner. During her life she lived in Dorchester, Mattapan, Randolph and Brookline. The blizzard of 78 convinced her to move to Tamarac Florida, she also bought a cottage in Hull and spent all her summers there. Eventually she moved to Coral Springs and continued to summer in Hull.
Carole is survived by her sister Debra and husband Gerard. Her Children Lisa, Adam, David, stepchildren Jeffery, Mitchell and Neil and their spouses Jeff, Anne, Lien, Deborah, Hope and Gigi. Elissa and Danny Morrisey held a special place in Carole’s heart. She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved. Carole was a grandmother to ten and great grandmother to six. Carole was preceded in death by her husband Alan, sister Lorraine and brother in-law Leonard.
Carole lived a full life of love and laughter; she loved to travel. She was a collector of many different things. Carole was very friendly and had many old friends dating back to grade school. She was the leader of the infamous “Beach Bums”, a member of the “Red Hat Society”, and a Cub Scout Den Mother. Carole was very intelligent and once appeared on the game show “Concentration”
Carole enjoyed working 20 years for the School Board of Broward County. She always said her favorite part of her job was the interaction she had with the students. Carole volunteered for many years at the Coral Springs Performing Arts Center.
When her grandchildren were young, Carole and Alan purchased a vacation home in Kissimmee Fl. They called it the Disney house; it was minutes from Disney World. She gave everyone in the family and some of her friend's keys to the house so they could enjoy it with their families.
That was the kind of woman she was, always thinking about taking care of her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St. Brookline MA 02445 Friday Oct 17th 2025 at 10:30am. Memorial donations can be made to “Cure Alzheimer’s Fund” or “Alzheimer’s Association” Thank you.
