Carole J. Mankin (Pinkney), age 81, of Brookline, on Saturday, September 8, 2012. For sixty years, beloved wife of Dr. Henry Mankin. Loving mother of Allison Mankin & her husband Jim Carton, David Mankin, and Keith Mankin & his wife Julia Fielding. Cherished grandmother of Sam and Molly Carton, and Cameron Mankin. Dear cousin of Ira Mogul. Carole was a gifted medical librarian and was in charge of special projects at Massachusetts General Treadwell Library. Private services have been held. There will be no memorial observance.
