

Ceena Merle Wallack- Brookline High School, Class of 1957. Dearest Daughter of Jean and David Wallack passed away on Feburary 5th, 2014. Ceena is survived by her life companion and loving wife Margaret(Peg) Cremin, her brother, Stephen Wallack, and his wife Virginia. She will be sorely missed by her daughters and grandchildren, and all her friends and family who loved and cherished her. Ceena was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and great aunt. She was a long time activist for gay rights and marriage and was one of the first same sex couples TO GET MARRIED in the state of Massachusetts. She was proud to have worked as a hair stylist and barber on Newbury St in Boston. She also loved the summers she spent at Nantasket beach with her brother, and at the beach in Gloucester with her wife, daughters, and beloved grandchildren. She treasured her time spent in Palm Springs, CA with her dearest friends and family. Given the gift of a beautiful voice and a wonderful sense of humor she brought great joy and laughter to all she knew. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE on Sunday February 16, 2014 at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon. Memorials preferred to the Ostomy Association of Boston, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
