

Charles Gerald “Jerry” Freidus, 81, of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8.
Jerry was the son of the late Nathan and Sylvia Freidus. He leaves behind his two children, Jason and his wife, Andrea, and Justin and his wife, Teenesha, as well as his beloved grandchildren: AJ, Autumn, Matthew, Rowen, Angelica, Kenney, Sebastian, JJ, and Savannah.
Jerry was a proud antique store owner of Mass Antiques, where he shared his love of collecting interesting and unique things. His curiosity and appreciation for special treasures brought him great joy throughout his life.
Jerry also had a deep love for nature and birds. He even created an aviary at his home, where he could enjoy and care for the birds he loved so much. He had a big heart for dog rescues and a lifelong love of music.
Jerry is also survived by his lifelong partner, Mary Lee, who shared many years of love, companionship, and devotion with him.
Above all, Jerry will be remembered for his extremely kind heart, his generosity, and the warmth he showed to those around him. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A graveside service will take place at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, on Friday, August 14, at 12:45 PM.
