Charles Nathan Segelman, age 92, of Newton, formerly of Needham and Chestnut Hill on Friday, June 7, 2013. For almost 68 years the devoted husband of Ruth (Temple) who predeceased him on January 27, 2013. Beloved father of Roberta & Dr. Lawrence Yellen of Newton, Gerald & Susanne Segelman of Rochester, NY, and Marsha & Dr. Hal Solomon of Millburn, NJ. Adored grandfather of Elizabeth Yellen, Denise & Israel Ganot, Brett Yellen, Alexander Yellen, Micah & Michal Segelman, Danna Solomon, Jeremy Solomon and special zayde of 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Leonard Segelman and the late Edward Segelman. Charles was advertising director for Gilcrist, Lechmere Sales, and Child World. Services at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Sunday, June 9 at 12noon. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham St., Sharon. Shiva at the home of Roberta and Lawrence Yellen following the interment until 9PM, continuing on Monday thru Thursday from 1-4PM and 7-9PM and on Friday from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice. Charles will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
