Charlotte "Chicki" Berkson

Age 97, on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Dedham, MA.

Daughter of the late Jack J. and Rose Springer. She is survived by her husband of more than 77 years, Jay Berkson. Jay and Chicki were residents of Newton, MA before moving to NewBridge on the Charles over 15 years ago. Chicki is also survived by her three children: Lauri Wishner (Steve), David (Pam z"l), and Lisa Ciborowski (Michael). She was the loving nana of Andrew (Emily), Matthew (Stacey), Sara (Laura), Dena (Alan), Dana (Mike), and Jared (Vanessa). Chicki was ChiChi to her nine great grandchildren: Jacoby, Chase, Hunter, Jackson, Rose, Arbor, Sam, Clay, and Oscar. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Alan Springer. Chicki will be greatly missed by her family. She lived a long, wonderful life and those who survive her are blessed with great memories. Special thanks to Marie and Myriam, who helped care for Chicki in her last days.

Funeral services will be at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel at 475 Washington Street in Canton on Wednesday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m., with burial at Sharon Memorial Park immediately after the service. Shiva will be held at Beal Family Chapel at NewBridge on the Charles, 5000 Great Meadow Road, Dedham from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Donations in Chicki’s name may be made to Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
