I’m so sorry to learn of Dr. Ertel’s passing...  she’s one of the reasons I became a doctor.  She was my childhood pediatrician, and it was clear she loved her work.  I wanted to care for children too and am now a pediatric anesthesiologist.  She touched so many lives through her practice in Weston.  I will always remember her with great admiration. 

Dr. Ertel was our Family pediatrician from the time my sister and I were very young at Weston Pediatrics. She worked hand in hand with my parents and the staff at Childrens Hospital Boston to make sure I was well cared for due to a lot of birth defects. I am very saddened to read this and so sorry for your loss as she was an amazing doctor and person.

I knew Corinne from school in Bayside, Queens and then at Cornell; it is through the recent issue of the Cornell Alumni News that I learned with shock and sadness of her untimely passing. She was simply a wonderful person. As all of those who knew her, I will always have a fond memory of her warm personality. My hearfelt condolences to the entire family.

Dr. Ertel, Corrine, was the best. She was with our family for 20 years in Weston and helped us through so many hard times as my daughter needed frequent care. She always was there for us and went that extra mile showing her personal interest and humanity. I always felt like I was working with a friend who happened to be a doctor as opposed to a friendly doctor. Rest in peace. we all miss you.

I'm so saddened to learn of Dr. Ertel's passing.  As my daughters' pediatrician since my first child was born in 1985, she embodied the perfect balance of competence and compassion.  The medical world has lost an amazing physician, and the world at large has lost a wonderful human being.  My sincerest condolences to Dr. Ertel's family.

I'm just coming across this now and can't believe it! Dr. Ertel was an amazing doctor she was my pediatrician and my kids. I called her when I was 20 and realizing I was pregnant she helped me out. What an amazing woman anytime we would go the the doctors office I would ask about her. Prayers to her family. We will miss her.

So Sad to here of the passing of Dr. Ertel. She was my children pediatrician for 21yrs. A lovely, kind, women. You touched our hearts.

I met Corinne in college. She was one of my roommates senior year. Six of us shared an apartment, and it was a year that I will never forget. I will remember it fondly as one of the nicest experiences of my life.  Corinne was always brilliant, always kind, always fun to be with, always compassionate, always wonderful in every way. I worked with Corinne at Burlington High School many years ago, she was a valued friend and is remembered with fondness by many in the Burlington Community.

Corinne was the most wonderful caring friend for over 40 years. I will miss her so much.  My thoughts are with her family.

Corinne and I became friends when we were both nine years old, growing up together in Bayside, Queens, NY. We shared much of our lives with one another over many decades. She was a bright, warm, caring person and friend. I am so very saddened to learn of her untimely passing.

Our entire family is deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend Corinne who we first met when we were about to have our first child over 31 years ago. Corinne gets all the credit for ensuring the safe arrival of our first daughter who was a preemie. She took exquisite and competent care of both our daughters for 22 years each. As it so happened, we met one summer over 20 years ago when we vacationed in the same place. Our long friendship was born. So not only was she our beloved and trusted pediatrician, she was our dear and beloved friend. We will sorely miss her and remember her always.  Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Lauren and Ken.

I was stunned and saddened to learn of Corinne's passing. I recall fondly my many years of working with Corinne side-by-side at Weston Pediatrics.  God bless Ken and Lauren during this difficult time.

I had the privilege of both working with Dr. Ertel and having her as my doctor for many years at Weston Pediatrics, where I worked through high school and college.  She was always a welcome sight and a respite from the otherwise male-dominated physician staff.  She was a wonderful doctor and a wonderful person.  My heartfelt condolences to all.

Upon taking my 18year old daughter in for a precollege checkup today I was so saddened to learn of Dr Ertel's death. She has been my children's physician for the past 20 years and was always so caring and sensitive, with a healthy dash of pragmatism. She will be greatly missed by our family and will be remembered for living a meaningful life of purpose.
