Cynthia (Miller) Levitt, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully in her Needham, MA home on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 at age 75.
Cynthia was a longtime Executive Director at Temple Emeth. She approached her career with dedication and commitment. Beyond her professional life, she took great pride in her numerous friendships, which she cherished deeply. She was a passionate lover of music, memorably witty, and was known for always putting the needs of others first, a quality that defined her character. She was also a devoted "dog mom" to her beloved Golden Retriever, Brinkley.
She was the loving mother of Kenny Levitt and his wife Andrea Levitt of Rochester Hills, MI, and the caring sister of Wayne Miller and his wife Colleen Dodge of Napa, CA. Cynthia was the devoted grandmother to Daniella Levitt, Abigail Levitt, and Isabelle Levitt, and a loving aunt to Jordan Miller (Denver, CO) and Lauren Miller (Napa, CA).
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2025 at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA at 10:00 am EST. Interment will immediately follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue or a charity of your choice.
