Daniel P. Lehrer
Daniel P. Lehrer, passed away as a result of a cardiac condition on June 26, 2020 at the age of 61. He was the beloved son of the late Libby (Rednick) and Leo Lehrer. He was a brother extraordinaire to his sisters Beth Passamano and Dina Lehrer. He was an adoring, proud and devoted father to his daughter Bobby Lehrer and uncle to Bella Levine. He maintained a continuous loving connection to his former wife Jody Lehrer and sister-in-law Abby Levine. His nieces and nephews, Leigh-Ayna, Julia, Asher and Leo, along with his brothers-in-law, Russ and Eric were touched by Dan's caring and playful ways. Recently, Dan became a great uncle to baby Bryce, which delighted him.
Although Dan had many jobs during his work life, the past several years he worked as a driver, taking people where they needed to go. This job suited him very well, as he loved to be behind the wheel and connecting with people. Dan's generous nature and enormous heart knew no bounds. He was deeply loyal to family and friends. His curious, thoughtful mind and sense of humor was easily engaged in conversation. As Dan met struggles in life, he was resilient and managed to maintain a sense of acceptance, optimism and hopefulness.
There are no words to express how greatly he will be missed.
A memorial gathering and sharing will be arranged at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's name to the Weymouth Food Pantry, 17 Church St., Weymouth, MA 02189 or www.weymouthfoodpantry.org.

Our lives were greatly enhanced when we were honored to have Danny living with us for a while in Givat Ze'ev, Israel and we cherish the memories of the many things we experienced there together. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to have spoken to him by phone several times in the past few months about genealogy- and family-related matters and shared memories. Goodbye, cuz -- we'll miss you.

My condolences to the entire, extended Lehrer family on your loss. I have nothing but fond memories of Danny from when we were kids growing up in the same corner of the Haddontowne neighborhood of Cherry Hill, NJ.
Rest in peace, Danny!
