Born in Massachusetts on December 5, 1951, Dan was the beloved, only son of the late Samuel L. Liftman and Doris (Simons) Liftman.
Although without siblings or a spouse, Dan leaves behind numerous first cousins who loved him that live with their spouses in various states: Leslie Kingsley, David Feldman, Jeffrey Feldman, Marjorie Callahan, Lawrence Simons, and Paul Simons.
Dan was a very honorable man who quietly devoted his life to community and government service – serving for multiple decades as a staff-person for Alcee Hastings (democratic U.S. congressman from Florida).
Dan will be buried with family in the Tifereth Israel Cemetery in West Roxbury, Massachusetts in a private, family burial.
