
Of Riverdale, NY, died peacefully on January 3, 2026 after a long illness.
Born in Boston in September 1949, he was a graduate of Belmont High School, class of 1967, Tufts College class of 1971, and Bentley University.
An accountant by occupation, his avocations were flying, photography, trombone playing, and barbershop quartet singing. He was the family archivist, and his slide shows were much anticipated at family gatherings. He lived in New York City for 40 years. The son of the late Vincent Patrick and Phyllis Cross Perlo, he is survived by a sister, Laura Perlo Meyer and her spouse Klemens Meyer, of Belmont, brother Charles of Beverly, and brother Donald and his spouse Barbara of Newton. He was the devoted uncle to eight nieces and nephews.
