Doris B. (Berkowitz) Robinson

Passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of the late Harvey H. Robinson, in a marriage of more than 72 years. Doris was the loving mother of Dan Robinson (Elan), Amy Robinson, and Judy Adler, grandmother of Wendy Walker, Dylan Walker, Rebecca Pollock, Adam Schnabel, Alex Robinson, and Jason Robinson, and great grandmother of 16. She was the beloved sister of the late Melvin Berkowitz.

Doris had a wide range of interests. She was a gourmet cook, delighting both family and guests with her outstanding meals. Doris was an avid gardener and had an extensive vegetable garden and many indoor plants, all of which she planted and tended to herself.

She partnered with Harvey as collectors and dealers of fine glass paperweights. Doris quickly became an expert in the art form, writing a book titled “Paperweights 101,” which was widely read and still sells on Amazon today. She loved her summers with Harvey in New Seabury, tending to its landscape design and spending time with family.

Doris’ family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Christopher Muwulya, Rhonah Gonzoni, and Sharon Nagadya for their dedication and loving care of Doris over the past few years. These generous souls have become family and will always be in our hearts.

A graveside service for Doris will take place on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, 2609 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA. The service will be followed by a shiva at Doris’ home.
