Dorothy “Dotty” Sylvia (Maskell) Rossman passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 after a brief illness. Dorothy lived in Newton, where she taught dance for the city of Newton for many years. She is survived by her sons and their wives: Donald & Pamela Rossman, Michael & Darcy Rossman, and Jerrold & Ann Marie Rossman; her six grandchildren Michael, Andrew, Keith, Ashley, Matthew, and Jennifer Rossman; Dorothy leaves behind several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Rossman, and son, Martin Jay Rossman. Graveside services will be held at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, on Monday August 29, 2016 at 11 am. Shiva services will be held at her home on Monday, August 29th from 6-9PM, and on Tuesday, August 30th from 5-9PM.
